Here Goes Nothing...

I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while now and I finally decided to just do it. I don't know what I will be doing specifically but I do know it will be about fashion. Fashion is my love and has been since the ripe old age of 9, when I got my first sketchbook and decided to draw a dress. Wow was that an ugly dress, but that didn't stop me from drawing more. I want nothing more than to be able to sit in a loft in Paris with giant windows facing the Eiffel Tower and design beautiful dresses for beautiful people. I have a long way to go but I know I will make it. This blog will be a diary of my journey through the exciting world of fashion, I will critique, learn, and just have fun.

I have decided to set some goals.

  • I will add a new post everyday even if it is just a picture of my outfit.

  • I will make at least one of my designs by the end of they year.

Those are my goals so far, I might add more later.

My outfit today:

I have on a green tank top from American Eagle, a high-waisted mini skirt with belt from Forever 21, a boyfriend cardigan from Target, and sandals from Target.

The skirt, cardigan, and shoes are some of my absolute favorite pieces of clothing in my closet. The skirt is extra high-waisted on me because I have very defined hips and it's impossible to get it any lower than it is in this picture, I know from all the pulling down I try to do when my mom complains about the length. The cardigan is so comfortable and it goes with pretty much anything, it's not a new trend but I wouldn't considered it a faux pas. The shoes are fairly new, only 20 bucks at Target and OMG are they comfortable, I'm not sure if anyone can say that about 4 1/2 inch heels, but they really are, and so easy to walk it.

I know the lighting is pretty bad on this picture but I couldn't tell until I put it on my computer and by then it was raining. That's Florida weather for ya.

Okay that's it for today!

A la prochaine!
